I am thankful for this economy, for without it, people would have continued to live beyond their means, buying things they couldn't afford, in competition with everyone, feeling their worth from the things they owned rather than from the one who owns all, God. Yes, this economy is like a fresh start for people to get it right, get their priorities in order, and to come to their senses. God, Family and then work. When the economy turns around, there will be many who will live a different life, those who will value things they never valued before, but there will also be some that will forget about how bad things got, and revert back to their old ways. Well, at least some will turn out happy. The ones that don't learn will continue chasing happiness and probably never find it. Those are the ones I will add into my prayers each and every day. Thank you Jesus for all you have provided us! I realized that the American people, regardless of their differences, shared one thing in common. Whenever there was a catastrophe or a call out for help most will come running to provide some sort of aid. I started testing this theory in 1980, and found that by saying "I Need Your Help" people would react in a very positive way and actually felt honored that I would be asking them for their help. I would normally get a response like this: "How can I be of help to you?" Almost like they were in awe that you felt they could help you. Whether you are new in the business or a very seasoned veteran, I need your help will serve you well. Through the years, I have noticed that most agents don't see themselves as true value and therefore it is hard for them to say "I Need Your Help." By the way, I introduced those words and concept to CRS in 1985, and I am glad to see that it has spread to other people.
